Community Drop-In Centre
Hadih!!...pronounced ha'dee means "hello" or "welcome" in the Dakelh language. Hadih house is a community drop-in centre serving families and elders. We are located at 2105 Pine Street, in Prince George BC.
Closed Saturdays, Sundays and Statutory Holidays
Hadih House provides a variety of programs:
Breakfast
We offer a free cold breakfast Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am for parents, children, grandparents, and elders. Options vary from cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit, and toast.
Computers
Do you need to do a job search or update a resume, maybe check your e-mail? We have computers available for free during drop-in hours. Printing, scanning, and photocopying are also available.
Pantry
We have a variety of food items for sale in our pantry. These are small measures that are sold at cost.
Laundry
We offer a washer and dryer for community use. You may book a 1 hour slot daily by signing up at Hadih House. Soap and fabric softeners are available free of charge.
Telephone and Fax
We have a telephone and fax machine available for free local calls and sending off your documents as required.
Donations
We offer free gently used clothing for all ages. The selection changes often.
Group Programming
You can choose from a variety of groups and programs to meet your interests and needs! Check out the calendar for what is offered throughout the week each month. Current programming includes a wellness workshop, family unity, an art group, and outreach services to the food bank.
Volunteerism
If you would like to be a volunteer to give back to your community we are building a strong volunteer base. Please call or drop-in to inquire further.
